How? Just drop by in Tanay, Rizal where several tricycle drivers offer day tour. The cost of the tour is per tricycle and not per person so a group of 4-6 persons is a fair count for one tricycle.
Rizal is one of the favorite day tour spots in the Philippines because it is near in Manila (you can do road trip), the weather is cold (just like Tagaytay or Baguio) and the cost of going there is cheap.
THINGS TO DO:
1. Adventure park
2.Hiking/Mountain climbing 3.Sightseeing 4. Museums 5. Churches 6. Food trip 7. And many more
To name a few, here are some of their main attractions
1. Regina Rica
When visiting places, going to their church is a must. Just spend time to go there and pray and be thankful that you were able to visit the place. TIPS: - For girls, you must wear decent clothes or else you will not be able to enter, but they actually let visitors to use/borrow some of their scarfs. - There is a parking fee Php 30.00 - Open hours is from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
2. Mount Daraitan & Tinipak River
3. Calinawan Cave
4. Pililla Wind Farm
7. Tanay Lakeshore & Parola
Boating in Laguna lake with a backdrop view of Tanay light house and Sierra Madre mountains for Php 100.00 per small boat.
We arrived in Tanay at around 12pm, so we were able to visit only few spots. We went to Regina Rica, Pililla Windmill, Tanay Lighthouse with boat ride to Laguna Lake and Tanay Church. All of these destinations for a group of four persons are more than the worth of your P1,000.
Tips:
1. The more you haggle, the lesser the price. 2. The earlier you are, the more places you can visit. Expenses: Crossing to Tanay - Php 58.00 Boat ride to Laguna Lake - Php 100.00 Day Tour - Php 1,000.00 for 4 pax / Php 250.00 each Tanay to Crossing - Php 58.00
