HOW TO GET THERE:
Commute – From Baclaran or Buendia Bus Stations, ride a bus going to Nasugbu. Then tell the driver to drop you in Nasugbu near in Mang Inasal where you can ride a tricycle going to Fortune Island Resort. Total travel time may take 5-6 hours. Private – Drive via Cavitex. Continue to Governor’s Road then to Nasugbu Ternate Hwy. Turn right to C. Alvares, the street passed Jollibee. Then turn right to Apacibe Blvd and go straight until you reach Fortune Island Beach Resort.
Fortune Island has this Greek inspired structure which most tourists take a drool-worthy photo with.
The view from the top
The island has many cliff diving spots, for beginners or for those who may want extreme experience.
Some parts of the beach are rocky. But not this one, the one near the cliff diving site, which has huge waves coming every now and then.
Bonefire
Since there's no food you can buy in this island you need to bring those easy to cook food. These were the food we ate, all grilled.
It has been a dream for me to fly a sky lantern, so we bought 6 of it in Divisoria (php 50 each). After couple of trials and errors, we finally succeeded to fly one.
The breathtaking view of sunrise in Fortune Island.
You can't take a bath in the island because the water is limited. So this is where you can wash yourself (public shower) after you leave the island.
Before going back to Manila, we had our lunch first in Mang Inasal which is just steps away from the bus terminal.
