Trying something new in travelling can add accomplishment to your life goals. If you want to hike, there is a mountain located in Rizal that has 3 summits with beautiful views. According to our guides, that mountain is 426 meters above sea level and it's for beginners like me. After we arrived, we directly go to WAWA DENR Office for the registration. We also signed a waiver that we are capable and fit to hike. Then, we went to the Barangay Hall to list down all climbers' for them to monitor. We have two guides, Kuya Nok-Nok and Kuya Jobel, since we are 10 in a group (a tour guide can only handle 5 persons). While walking, we pass first through a hanging bridge. You can see the excitement in our faces in our first photo because most of us are beginners. The view from the bridge. Starting to walk towards the first station. Once you see wooden/bamboo seats, that means you're in the station. After we reached all of the 4 stations, see how we look like, so wet and tired. Hehehe. The last station "junction" is where you can buy foods like cup noodles, boiled egg, bread, snacks, drinks and etc. You must eat here first because the stations you just climbed are just to warm you up. The struggle is yet to come. The first summit (; *I survived The way to the summit is too scary, for me it's like "one miss, you die " The mountain is too rocky and muddy so wearing gloves is a must. They said it's just for beginners but for me and for my friend who hiked already, it's really not. Maybe it just raining that's why it's hard for us. Or because there are 3 mountains in Rizal and this one is the easiest for them. (Can't imagine how scary the others are) To go to the second summit, you need climb the wall. The Second Summit (a jump shot) (group photo) ( relationship goals photo) Going to the 3rd and last summit, you need to rappel. WE MADE IT ( Success ) Total expenses per person (group of 10) Fare - Php 280 Environmental fee - Php 50 Tour Guide fee - Php 100 Parking fee - Php 3 Donation - Php 2 Total - Php 435 * You can bring your own food to lessen the expenses. What to bring/do: Wear hand gloves Wear cap Bring water Wear a comfortable hiking shoes or sandal. Better to wear leggings with shorts. ( ladies) Extra clothes Light snacks Contacts: Kuya Nok-nok (tour guide) - 09984239167 Kuya Driver ( Van for Rent ) - 09222024122 *we rented a van since we're 10 in a group. To lessen the hassle.
